Catherine M. Cameron

Catherine M. Cameron is professor emerita in the Department of Anthropology at the University of Colorado Boulder. Her research interests include prehistoric demography, the evolution of complex societies, and processes of cultural transmission. Much of her career focused on archaeological studies of the northern part of the American Southwest. For more than a decade, she has also pursued a global study of prehistoric warfare, captive-taking, and enslavement in small-scale societies.
