Christopher González is professor of English and chair of the Department of English at Southern Methodist University, where he holds the Jacob and Frances Sanger Mossiker Endowed Chair. He serves as president of MELUS: The Society for the Study of Multi-Ethnic Literature of the United States and directs the Narrative Now Initiative. He is the author of Permissible Narratives: The Promise of Latino/a Literature and Reading Junot Díaz.
