Clara Lee Tanner

Clara Lee Tanner has been a member of the Anthropology Department at the University of Arizona since 1928, and has authored numerous books and articles on American Indian arts. Among her many awards and honors are the 50th Anniversary Award of the Gallup Inter-Tribal Indian Ceremonial Association, recognition by the National Federation of Press Women, and inclusion in “Who’s Who.”
