Colleen M. Scanlan Lyons

Colleen M. Scanlan Lyons is an environmental anthropologist who specializes in sustainable development in tropical forests. She is an associate research professor in the Environmental Studies Program at the University of Colorado Boulder, and director of the Governors’ Climate and Forests Task Force. Her work focuses on the Amazon and Atlantic Forests of Brazil, as well as other regions of Latin America, Indonesia, and parts of Africa.
