Daniel C. McCool

Daniel C. McCool’s research focuses on Native American voting rights, water rights, and water policy. His twelve books include River Republic: The Fall and Rise of America’s Rivers, The Most Fundamental Right: Contrasting Perspectives on the Voting Rights Act, and Native Vote: American Indians, the Voting Rights Act, and the Right to Vote (co-authored with Susan M. Olson and Jennifer L. Robinson). He has served as an expert witness in twenty-seven voting rights cases.
