Deborah E Blom

Deborah E. Blom is an associate professor in the Department of Anthropology at the University of Vermont. She is a bioarchaeologist whose work addresses intersecting social identities, body modification, migration and colonization, and health and nutrition within ancient Andean societies. Her recent National Science Foundation–funded study investigates cultural constructions of childhoods in Tiwanaku society (AD 500–1100).
