Elaine Thomas

Elaine Thomas is a Mohegan tribal member and has worked in the Mohegan Tribal Government for twenty-two years, where she served as the archaeology program coordinator and deputy tribal historic preservation officer until her retirement in 2021. She was a contributor to Collaborating at the Trowel’s Edge: Teaching and Learning in Indigenous Archaeology. She works with tribal nations in identifying and preserving ceremonial stone landscapes.
