James R. Kluger

James Robert Kluger received his B.A. from St. Ambrose College in 1961, then earned an M.A. in history from the University of Arizona in 1965. He taught at Midwestern College in Denison, Iowa, and in 1967 returned to the University of Arizona to begin work on his Ph.D. in Recent and Western History. He is the title-page editor's assistant for the Western History Association on the University of Arizona Press book Reflections of Western Historians. In 1969 he was awarded the John P. Rockfellow Memorial Scholarship for excellence in Western History.
