Jennifer McLerran

Jennifer McLerran is the author of A New Deal for Native Art: Indian Arts and Federal Policy, 1933–1943. She recently retired from teaching art history and museum studies at Northern Arizona University. She has served as a curator of Native American art at the Kennedy Museum of Art, Ohio University, and the Museum of Northern Arizona. Recent publications include articles for Feminist Studies, American Indian Culture and Research Journal, and First American Art.
