Karen Jarratt-Snider

Karen Jarratt-Snider (Choctaw descent) is professor of applied Indigenous studies at Northern Arizona University, with expertise is in the areas of Indigenous environmental justice, federal Indian policy, tribal administration, and tribal environmental management. Her applied community-based research includes Indigenous environmental justice, tribal environmental management, and federal Indian policy. Her recent books, edited with Marianne O. Nielsen, are Indigenous Justice and Gender and Indigenous Environmental Justice in the Indigenous Justice series from University of Arizona Press.
