Pedro Vallejo

Pedro “Pete” Vallejo is of Diné (Chíshí Diné clan) and Mexican American descent and is currently the principal of Pecos High School in Pecos, New Mexico. He received his EdD in educational leadership from the University of New Mexico; his academic interests lie in culturally responsive leadership in Indigenous and Hispanic education. He has over twenty-six years of teaching and administrative experience working with K–12 and postsecondary programs in California and New Mexico.
