Raymond W. Grant

Raymond W. Grant, co-author of the Mineralogy of Arizona, third edition, has a PhD in geology and has retired after teaching geology at Mesa Community College in Mesa, Arizona for 31 years. He is a past president of the Mineralogical Society of Arizona, past chair of the Flagg Mineral Foundation, and cochairman of the Minerals of Arizona Symposium for 26 years. He has recently started the Pinal Geology Museum in Coolidge, Arizona.  His published works also include several articles on Arizona mineral localities and the Checklist of Arizona Minerals.
