Todd A. Surovell

Todd A. Surovell is a professor of anthropology at the University of Wyoming. He is the lead investigator of Barger Gulch Locality B and the La Prele Mammoth site. He completed a five-year ethnoarchaeological project with Dukha reindeer herders in northern Mongolia. He specializes in Paleoindian archaeology, lithic technology, geoarchaeology, Pleistocene extinctions, and ethnoarchaeology. He is the author of Toward a Behavioral Ecology of Lithic Technology.
