Vanessa Fonseca-Chávez

Vanessa Fonseca-Chávez is assistant vice provost and associate professor of English at Arizona State University. Born and raised in rural New Mexico, Fonseca-Chávez’s research focuses on the ways in which Manita/o rural communities understand and narrate their sense of place. She is the author of Colonial Legacies in Chicana/o Literature: Looking Through the Kaleidoscope and the co-editor of La Plonqui: The Literary Life and Work of Margarita Cota-Cárdenas.
