Yvette G. Flores

Yvette G. Flores obtained a doctoral degree in clinical psychology at University of California, Berkeley, in 1982. She has done postdoctoral work in health psychology. A professor of psychology in Chicana/o Studies at University of California, Davis, for the past thirty years, Flores’s current research promotes family well-being and mental health among immigrant communities. She also has researched human trafficking and intimate partner violence, as well as the academic experience of Latinas in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and medicine (STEMM) careers.
