Desk and Exam Copies

Thank you for considering our materials for your teaching. Please review our desk and exam copy policies below.

Desk Copies

We are pleased to offer one complimentary desk copy for instructors who have adopted a University of Arizona Press book as a required text (minimum enrollment: ten students). Additional copies are available upon request for classes with more than fifty enrolled students.

Please submit your request via email. Include an attachment (PDF or Word) on departmental letterhead, with the following information: title and author, instructor, semester, course name and number, enrollment, and the bookstore that handles your textbook requirements. Book(s) are sent via media mail, and should arrive within two to three weeks.

Exam Copies

If you wish to consider a University of Arizona Press book for course adoption, we are pleased to offer an exam copy for a nominal fee (limit two per semester). Please submit your request via email. Include an attachment (PDF or Word) on departmental letterhead, with the following information: title and author, instructor, course name and number, and projected semester and enrollment.

Electronic exam copies are free. If an electronic copy is not available or you prefer a physical book, the fees are $6.00 for paperbacks and $36.00 for hardcovers (for international instructors, the respective fees are $9.50 and $39.50). If you submit evidence of course adoption of a hardcover, we will issue a refund of $30.00. Please call (520) 621-4913 to pay via credit card or send a check made out to the University of Arizona (U.S. banks only, please). Please do not send credit card information via email.
