Talento Bilingüe de Houston’s Book Launch for The Book of Wanderers

Talento Bilingüe de Houston hosts a book launch celebration for Reyes Ramirez‘s The Book of Wanderers.
When: Thursday, May 12, 2022, 7:30 p.m. MST at 333 S. Jensen Dr., Houston.
The Book of Wanderers deeply explores Houston, a Gulf Coast metropolis that incorporates Southern, Western, and Southwestern identities near the borderlands with a connection to the cosmos. As such, each story becomes increasingly further removed from our lived reality, engaging numerous genres from emotionally touching realist fiction to action-packed speculative fiction, as well as hallucinatory realism, magical realism, noir, and science fiction.
Join MECA, TBH, Nuestra Palabra and Tintero Projects to celebrate this debut short story collection. This literary night features a full line-up of poets and writers including Yeiry Guevara, Farrah Fang, Icess Fernandez Rojas, Lupe Mendez, and more!
Joining Reyes for a Q&A will be University of Arizona Press’s Camino del Sol Series Editor Rigoberto González.
